The REACH regulation requires companies to update their REACH registrations "without undue delay" in case certain information is no longer correct.
A few years ago, a supplementary regulation was published (EU/2020/1435) that specified further deadlines for adjusting the registration dossier. For example, a change in the composition of a substance must be incorporated into the REACH registration file within three months.
ECHA, the European Chemicals Agency, recently conducted an audit and many companies were found to be at fault. See ECHA news item on screening of REACH registrations
The information about these outdated REACH registrations has been passed on to the government so that it can take enforcement action.
If you are concerned about the validity of your REACH registrations, we can do the necessary checks.
